PSP users, it is time for a PSP update. This update contains:

• Digital Comics Reader – This is a new service launching in December. It allows you to download comics from the PS Store and read them on the PSP system, page by page or frame by frame. It will be under a new section called “Extras” on the XMB. But you will have to download this onto the PSP. A free digital comic sample will be available soon. www.playstationcomics.com for more info.
• Export Video/Photo Playlists – This allows you to export video and photo playlists on the your PC through Media Go*.

adhoc Party for the PSP system has been announced after being released in Japan. This is something that PSP users can connect through their PS3s to connect with others online on what once used to be local only games. So games like Gran Turismo or Resistance: Retribution will be able to play with others.

All you need is a Wi-Fi connection and a PS3 to use. There are also social features within this service so you can chat with other gamers playing the same game before you pwn or beat them. This may turn out to be competitive for some. It will soon be available to download over the PlayStation Store.
